Our tips

Save time

  • Come in the morning, right at the opening time, before the tour groups arrive! It’s usually the best and least crowded time.

  • Avoid midday and weekends, the line gets much longer!

  • Secret Itinerary tour is highly recommended, better to book your place in advance. The tours’ starting hours are fixed, check them and other details here.

  • The main problem with tickets sold on the Doge’s Palace website, is that availability is really scarce. You can also buy official tickets from this reseller, we partnered with them because they guarantee a skip-the-line visit, check it out here.

  • If you have a pre-booked ticket for the Palace then you can skip the queue (ticket booth queue).

  • Remember that spring and fall are the busiest periods in Venice (especially April and May). Winter period is the calmest.
