Tower of Pisa

• Buying your tickets online will allow you to skip the long line at the ticket office near the Leaning Tower of Pisa. This ticket includes a skip-the-line entrance ticket to the Tower and also gives you access to the Pisa Cathedral at the hour of your choice.

• To avoid crowds during your visit, we advise you to come very early in the morning. After climbing the Tower, you will then be able to continue your visit of Pisa by going to the Cathedral and the museums.

• Weekends are much more crowded than weekdays. If you don’t have any other choice than visiting the Tower on a Saturday or Sunday, we advise you to go there about one hour before sunset during the high season, at nightfall, when the wait is significantly lower.

• High season starts at the beginning of July and ends at the end of August. It is better to visit the Tower of Pisa during the months of April, May, June or September, when the weather is still enjoyable but waiting lines are way shorter.

The Tower of Pisa is open all year. Last entry is 30 minutes prior to closing. Opening hours for the Cathedral, the Camposanto Monumentale and the museums are different.

• December and January: 10:00-17:00 (9:00-18:30 from 5th to 8th December and 9:00-19:00 from 21st December to 6th January)

• November and February: 9:45-17:15 (9:00-18:00 on 1st November)

• March: 9:00-18:00 (9:00-20:00 from 30th March and 9:00-19:00 from 23rd to 29th March)

• From April to September: 9:00-21:00 (8:30-17:30 on 16th June and 8:30-22:00 from 17th June to 31st August)

• October: 9:00-19:00 (9:00-20:00 from 1st to 4th October and 9:00-18:00 from 27th October to 1st November)
