Opening hours:
- From Monday to Thursday, Saturday: from 10am to 5pm.
- Friday and Sunday: from 11am until 5pm.
- The museum is closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and 1 & 2 January.
- On Hogmanay, 31 December, the museum closes to the public at 1pm.
Free admission.

By car: from the M8 motorway, take Junction 19 and travel west bound along the Clydeside Expressway (A814) for about one mile to Pointhouse road. Then turn left into the Riverside Car Park area. There is a pay & display car park at Riverside.
